Luton took on Hull away from home this Saturday at the MKM Stadium. The 3-1 win saw them move into third place in the Championship table.
Starting the game, Peter Kioso, James Bree, and Dan Potts lined up as the three centre-backs due to the injury crisis. Tom Lockyer returned to the bench, but Kal Naismith, Gabe Osho, Sonny Bradley, and Reece Burke were still unavailable.
The Hatters got off to the perfect start when Adebayo scored his thirteenth championship goal of the season in just the ninth minute of the game. Luton almost doubled their lead just ten minutes later. Luke Berry, who took a long shot, forced Matt Ingram into a brilliant save to stop the effort.
The Hatters finished the first half 1-0 ahead, having only faced one shot on target, after yet another great defensive display from Luton's makeshift defence.

Nathan Jones decided to make some tactical changes just seven minutes into the second period. Berry and Kioso made way for Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu and Tom Lockyer as the duo came back from injury.
Just before the hour mark, Harry Cornick doubled the Hatters' lead as Adebayo pounced on a defensive mistake from Hull. Running through on goal, Adebayo squared it to his strike partner, Cornick, as he tapped the ball into the net to put Luton 2-0 ahead.
In the seventy-second minute, Jordan Clark was fouled on the edge of the box. James Bree stepped up to take it and curled his effort spectacularly into the back of the net. As the shot went in, Bree left the Tigers' keeper Ingram glued to the spot.
Goalscorer Harry Cornick made way for Cameron Jerome in the seventy-fifth minute as the experienced striker entered the action to find a fourth for Luton.
There was no clean sheet for the Hatters today as Tom Eaves scored a consolation goal for the Tigers in additional time. The referee blew his whistle shortly after the restart and Luton picked up another three points.
The win moved Luton into third-placed position in the league table, as results around them went their way.
